Our mission

To face current marketing needs and the fast market evolution, the Vaudois Wine Propaganda Office (created within the Cantonal Office of Viticulture in 1941), became the Vaudois Wine Office in 1969. It is a public-law institution, whose status is based on the viticulture law. It is financed by a surface tax and a cellaring fee paid by vineyard owners and cellarers.

The Vaudois Wine Office’s objective is to promote Vaudois wines and to facilitate sales. Its activities comprise the following:

  • Information
  • Advertising
  • Promotion
  • Public Relations
  • Any other related activity, except the sale of wine

It is also in charge of coordinating all actions undertaken.
